Rushed

The last trip to the Rhein was such a rush, I didn't have time to meet up with some friends I wished I could have....Dr. AF would have been one of them, taking up a new position in the city of Mainz, my one regret was that the weekend was all locked out with little room to maneuver...for now, I am back at Since 1819, not quite sure what the future holds...

Bereit.

Finally at the airport, all checked-in and ready to fly. I miss home already, but sitting here, sipping a latte macchiatto and seeing double rainbows does alleviate a little of that home sickness. It was a good trip. Wasn't without its hiccups, but thank God it all went through. Can't wait to go back to family & friends. I know for sure a ton of plastic awaits :)

Muss schon wieder los!

Back again along the Rhine. Listening to Ten Shekel Shirt (Meet with Me)and it's an instant throwback to the days when I was here. I hadn't expected this trip (was told within less than a week to fly). Planning to meet MW and family this weekend. A truckload of work to settle, and in as much as being away from the frenetic pace of things of the Island on the Equator is a welcome respite from the demands of life in the City, call of home beckons nonetheless. I guess sometimes it takes going to somewhere else to have one realise home is where the heart is. Perhaps some photos along the way, but for now, it's back to work.
